The wedding at Cana

John 2:1-12
Jesus, knowing it was not His time, said to His mother. "What does this have to do with me? It is not my hour." But as an act of honor and respect for His mother, did what she asked Him to do. Had he disobeyed His mother in not doing what she asked of Him, maybe that would have showed dis-honor, or disobedience, which would essentially make Him a sinner. Jesus, fully God, and fully man, yet perfect and all knowing, obeyed His mother in her requests, though it was not yet His time. So cool to relate to Jesus and see how amazing He really is. He didn't have to do what she asked of Him, but He did. Same as Him giving His life for us on calvary! He performed a miracle for everyone, but humbly took no credit for doing so. His disciples knew and believed Him, yet it was not His time. Though He took no credit, He was still glorified!(Jesus is a part of all of our weddings, but could you imagine Him, physically present at your wedding? Rejoicing, drinking wine, celebrating with you! How cool!)
