"Jesus became flesh"
When you/I read this passage, and substitute in Jesus where appropriate, it makes this passage in scripture so much more relate-able. When I first did this, it changed my life. It reminded me that not only are my words in sharing the gospel important, but my life, the way I live. Jesus' strength played out in my life. This to me is what the gospel is. Living it, not just preaching it. How is anyone going to know/believe if it is not seen. My goal in the end is to have people say: "Wow! In that womans life, the gospel became flesh!" God's words were put into action through the life of Jesus Christ! God did not only speak, He sent His son, in the form of flesh, a human body, to set His words into action! Let's live out our lives for Him, not just preach our words about Him!
